Cyber law deals with legal issues related to the internet, cyberspace, and digital technologies. One of the primary challenges is determining jurisdiction, as the internet operates across borders, and legal issues may involve parties from different countries. Cyber law addresses criminal activities conducted online, such as hacking, identity theft, phishing, cyberbullying, and online fraud. Laws are in place to prosecute perpetrators and protect victims of cybercrime. It addresses legal issues related to online content, such as hate speech, defamation, obscenity, and copyright infringement on social media platforms and websites. With the increasing threat of cyber attacks on critical infrastructure and national security, cyber law also encompasses laws related to cyber warfare, including international treaties, conventions, and agreements aimed at preventing cyber conflicts and establishing norms of behavior in cyberspace.
